March declared Epilepsy Awareness Month

Coun. Mike Doody, Seizure & Brain Injury Centre President Keitha Robson, Mayor Steve Black, Seizure & Brain Injury Centre Executive Director Rhonda Latendresse, and Coun. Walter Wawrzaszek officially declare March Epilepsy Awareness Month.

March has been declared Epilepsy Awareness Month in Timmins.

The Seizure and Brain Injury Centre was at City Hall this week to kick off the awareness campaign. To show support for the cause, people are asked to wear purple on March 26.

To celebrate, the organization is also bringing back its Purple Pet Contest.

You can enter by sending in a photo of your pet dressed in purple for Purple Day March 26. There will be prizes for the best dressed pet.
